Call for Papers, Posters, Workshops and Case Studies

The European Seating Symposium is the leading event in Europe for advancing and promoting research, education and practice in the field of seating, wheeled mobility and assistive technologies.

The 8th European Seating Symposium (ESS) will take place from the 19-21 June 2024 in Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin.

We invite you to submit a paper, poster or instructional workshop related to seating, wheeled mobility and assistive technology for peer-review by our International Scientific Committee. This year there will be a maximum of two oral presentations per speaker.

All accepted abstracts, whether papers, posters or workshops, will be published in the book of conference proceedings via The ESS Conference App. The best paper presentation, as voted for by the delegates, will also receive the accolade of the “ESS 2024 Best Conference Paper”.

Please send your submission through our Abstract Management System The deadline for submission is Friday 24November 2023. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by Friday 19 January 2024 to enable Early Bird discounted conference registration rates.
